Coconut Grove Elementary school students will be selling “Ed Bucks” at The Bookstore in the Grove (3399 Virginia Street), Saturday, October 23, from 1 to 5 pm.
“Ed Bucks” is a new way to raise money for public education while saving money at local businesses. For every $5 or $20 spent at a local participating business like Smoothie King, Johnny Rockets, Milam's, Shell Lumber and others, you may save $1 or $2 by using the Ed Bucks.
Funds raised will be used to purchase Smart Boards for all Coconut Grove Elementary classrooms.
