Coconut Grove Elementary School's International Children's Book Fair is October 25-27 from 8 am to 4 pm, October 28 from 8 am to 8 pm and October 29 from 8 am to noon. Support the school, buy books for gifts and for the school!
The school's Harvest Fest is October 28 from 6 to 8 pm. Harvest Fest is a school carnival with games, prizes, bounce houses and baked goods which raises funds for the school. The funds are used to purchase supplies. Right now, teachers typically spend an average of $500 of their own money to purchase supplies for their classrooms. So if you're in the area on Oct. 28, stop in for a cupcake or game or two and help support the school.
The PTA is now seeking corporate members and invites new partners to join the Fundraising and Membership Committee. Email inquiries to cgespta@gmail.com.
