Miss Teen Earth Florida to visit Grove school

Miss Teen Earth Florida, Brittney Ronda, 14, left, crowned last July, will be visiting F.S. Tucker Elementary School on Thursday, October 28 to donate books she's been collecting through her pageant platform, "Recycle the Love." An arts and crafts project with the students will also focus on the importance of preserving our environment.

The "Recycle the Love" program collects books, toys, games and clothes to be donated to underprivileged families. Baby blankets are also collected and turned into quilts for the families.

The program is continuously collecting and distributing items donated through different local and state-wide events created by Florida Earth Pageants. Donations can be arranged by emailing
info@earthfloridapageants.com.

Florida Earth Pageants are part of the Miss Earth system, the only pageants in the world focused 100 percent on environmental education.
