Little Havana has nothing on us
All day Domino Tournament and Harley contest

All the merchants up and down the Mayfair Promenade are excited about Saturday's Inaugural Domino Tournament. On October 23, from 12:30 in the afternoon until about 10 pm, the Promenade will be filled with domino tables and lots of food and drink.

The Three Stogies Cigar lounge is sponsoring the event, along with Casa Vana restaurant, who is donating the food and Pantry Liquors, who is donating the booze.

There will be 40 teams of two. Anyone is welcome to register now by contacting Joe Capo at 786-399-5874 or
joecapo.dsaom@yahoo.com. The limit is 40 teams, so get in while you can. The registration fee is $100 per team. This includes the tournament, lunch, two drinks and a goody bag. The winning team wins $500 at the end of the night.

The public is invited to watch and enjoy all the activities that day. All proceeds benefit the
Down Syndrome Association of Miami.

A Motorcycle Show will be sponsored by Peterson Harley and Road Rage Magazine, up to 60 Harleys will be on display and be judged for prizes. The art galleries and shops around the Promenade will all have special things going on, too.

Beers are $2; cocktails are $5, lunch is $5. There will be lots of music with live DJ's and a steel drum band, raffles and a silent auction will be played all day, too. There is face painting for the kids and the Marlins Mermaids will entertain everyone, too.

It should be a fun event, just the few tables that are usually out at Gallery Walk night, draw a large crowd, which gathers around the domino players and The Three Stogies, so this all day event should draw quite a gathering and it's all for a good cause.
