* Barracuda's Great Pumpkin Carving Contest and Pet Costume Contest (adult contest, too)
* The Grove Spot's Sexiest Halloween Party
Saturday, October 30:
* Vizcayans Halloween Party
* Bachaco is playing live at Berries in the Grove (2884 SW 27 Avenue) on Saturday, October 30, for their Halloween party. There's a costume contest with prizes for first and second place.There is no cover and parking is free in their private lot. The band starts playing at 10 pm.
Also, on Oct. 30, The Taurus is getting in the Halloween spirit with a big Halloween Party called the Monster Mash Bash. It's a new tradition at the Grove's legendary bar. The party is from 8 pm to midnight with a live DJ, a Costume Contest and Drink Specials. Great prizes (including a weekend for two at The South Beach Hilton) will be awarded for the best costumes. Since The Taurus is legendary, please dress as your favorite legend, dead or alive.
Sunday, October 31, Halloween day and night:
* CocoWalk's Kids' Halloween party, noon to 5 pm, candy, prizes fun!
* Trunk or Treat Halloween in Village West
* Spooky Science Halloween at Science Museum, 10 am to 6 pm. Details here.
* 8 pm til ??? - Center Grove taken over by ghosts and goblins. The place to be where everyone comes out, goes crazy and has a great time.
