Grove Arts Festival honored with four awards

The Coconut Grove Arts Festival was recently honored with awards by the International Festivals & Event Association at a ceremony in St. Louis, MO.

They were honored with four awards: Gold for Best Hat; Silver for Best Miscellaneous Printed Materials; Silver for Best New Merchandise and Bronze for Best t-shirt design.

“These awards are a testament to the festival’s commitment to presenting the very best designs for our visitors,” said Monty Trainer, president of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. “We believe that each of our merchandise items not only enhance the quality of the event, but also help to leave lasting memories of the festival.”

The Coconut Grove Arts Festival is February 19-21, 2011.The Arts Festival is produced by the non-profit Coconut Grove Arts and Historical Association. Proceeds help fund year-round arts programs and benefit a building fund that will create a permanent home for the Arts Festival. The association also maintains the Coconut Grove Arts Festival Gallery and presents special exhibitions throughout the year from its location at the Shoppes at Mayfair.
