The BID (Business Improvement District) is holding a public discussion and presentation on Monday, May 23, to discuss the proposed sidewalk project in the Center Grove business district.
This is your opportunity to hear details on the City and the Grove's new project involving widening of sidewalks, replacement of the bricks and tree removal, which will be a sore spot with many Grove neighbors.
There will be talk of the expanded tree pit designs, curb cuts and the elimination of some on-street parking spaces, making the Grove more pedestrian friendly.
The meeting is at City Hall (3500 Pan American Drive) from 6 to 8 pm. If you get there early, from 6 to 6:30, you'll have an opportunity to look at the plans and familiarize yourself with the posted materials before the public presentation.
