Our favorite thing of the week

The Sangria and the water at the new Peacock Garden Cafe (2889 McFarlane Road) is our favorite thing this week.

The water is tap water, but it's cold and in their own bottle, which is the fun part and the Sangria is perfect for these hot afternoons. There is red and white. Most prefer white, I of course, have to be different and love the red.

Grab a glass or two and sit at a garden cafe table under the trees and enjoy. The basil leaf garnish and lemon, complete the enjoyment.

Another interesting thing they do is put a chocolate mint leaf in their lemonade. You may want to try that, too.

As you enter and leave, you'll notice an old bathtub being used as a planter. Look closer, those are where the herbs are being grown!
