5K Run for Relief taking place in Coconut Grove

The inaugural 5K Run for Relief is being held in Coconut Grove on Sunday, May 15. A post-race award ceremony and entertainment will be in Peacock Park. All money raised will be given to Project Medishare, an organization dedicated to building sustainable health care in Haiti.

The starting and finishing line is at Peacock Park and the race includes area of the North, South and Center Grove. Starting time is 7:30 am and there are all age divisions starting at 8 years old and under and ending with 70 years old and under and all ages in between.

Pre-registration fee is $25 and it's $30 on race day.
A commemorative t-shirts will be given to all participants. T-shirts are only guaranteed on the day of the race for pre-registered runners only. Race day registration t-shirts are available for pick up after the event. So if you want to wear the shirt while racing, it's important to pre-register.
