New Grove residents Danny and Trisha Nieder responded to the call to paint coconuts Wednesday night, they hail from New Orleans. Not shown are the prize winning silver and gold coconuts which will garner some grand prize for the lucky scavenger.
We need lots of coconuts for the hunt which is on July 4, so there will be some impromptu painting going on. As long as you bring dried coconuts to the Windisch-Hunt Gallery (2911 Grand Avenue) AnnaMaria will let you paint. The gallery hours are 11 am to 8 pm for painting. Grab a few friends and stop by, paint and brushes will be supplied.
