There is a free seminar this Saturday, June 26, which will empower artists by giving them the opportunity to learn a series of techniques that will help in various aspects of the art community. Art organizations, and cultural and non-profit organizations are welcome, too.Learn how to get funding and learn grant writing. Learn about becoming a 501(c)3. Learn to identify sources and partnerships and foundations who would be interested in working with you. The seminar's goal is to improve the culture industry and to encourage many to lead, rather than follow.
The seminar is free, but bring your lunch, it's an all day thing from 9 am to 4 pm at the Windisch-Hunt Gallery (2911 Grand Avenue).
