Enjoy live Spanish music among the poincianas

It's an in-between the Gallery Walk event -- it's flamboyance mixed with Spanish vibrations. The music of Spain will be performed by a string quartet at the Windisch-Hunt Gallery (2911 Grand Avenue) on Saturday, June 19 from 7 to 9 pm.

Ava Rado Harte, is the artistic director of The Center for Emerging Art, Inc., who is presenting the program. Their mission is to "facilitate a forum in which artists and the public can together challenge traditions, explore new ideas, and serve as a gateway through which artists can enter the Arts mainstream."

They strive "to provide innovative, high quality arts programs in the community, and use the Arts as a way to build bridges of understanding between cultures."

The musicians include Paul Martin, classical guitar; Oderlyn Gutiez-Bello, flute and Beatriz Vera, violinist.

On display are the flaming red royal poinciana creations by various artists. Come out and enjoy refreshments, Spanish culture and art.
