Meet author John Jacobsen, author of "A Commodore of Errors, at The Bookstore in the Grove (3399 Virginia Street) tomorrow, Saturday, October 29 at 7:30 pm.John will present a special book reading and signing of this first ever novel written about the US Merchant Marine Academy.
Captain John Jacobsen, a Coconut Grove resident, is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, who spent 15 years plying the world’s oceans as a ship’s officer on cargo and passenger vessels. Today, Jacobsen is a harbor pilot at the Port of Miami and the Chairman of the Biscayne Bay Pilots Association.
