Grove Scuba is celebrating move with a party

Grove Scuba has a new home. They moved from their location on Mary Street to 2809 SW 27 Avenue, they are right next to Burger King. With this move, they are now the largest scuba diving store in Miami.

On Saturday, October 22, Grove Scuba will celebrate it's grand opening as well as introduce their new spear fishing and free diving items. Grove Scuba is Miami's only PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center.

Guests on Saturday will include marine businesses and organizations and there will be opportunities to win scuba gear and other great items in raffles and silent auctions. All proceeds will go towards Miami Children's Hospital and Miami-Dade Reef Guard.

Mayor Tomas Reglado will be on hand as well as folks from many local aquatic organizations like the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Immersion Free Diving, RJ Ventures and more. Ironically, I had heard about Grove Scuba's move before the move directly from the Mayor. He mentioned it at the Great Grove Bed Race this year.

The fun is all day from 9 am to 7 pm and at 7 pm, the grand prize will be raffled.

Parking is available in the Burger King lot, which shares the lot with the scuba shop.
