Halloween around Coconut Grove

halloween3
So it's Halloween, where did September and October go? Lots of people are out already, dressed up and having fun. Tonight will be wild, as it usually is, in the Center Grove. There are many more street closures this year to accommodate the crowds. Moms are out with the kiddies at CocoWalk and lots of merchants are dressed up, too. That's Steve Licata, from Palm Produce, I caught him getting to work this morning, all military-like.

Louis Del Borrello, the Grove Ambassador, is the Cat in the Hat today. He's the center of attention it seems, because all day, passersby are taking photos of him at his information booth in the center of town.

Jimmy, the balloon boy, is upstairs at CocoWalk making balloon animals for all the kids. CocoWalk was full of kids trick-or-treating from store to store.

Here's a little witch from Victoria's Secret, handing out candy.
