The Wishing Well takes the stage for the first "Barnacle under Moonlight" concert of the season on Friday, September 9.
The Wishing Well is an Australian band, which has been on the road continuously throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia since 2008. In the melodic traditions of Peter Gabriel, Bruce Springsteen, and The Dave Matthews Band, The Wishing Well appeals to lovers of emotive lyrics and melody.
This is their first-ever concert in the United States as they kickoff a three-month tour of this country. Blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics are welcome, but pets are not permitted at the concerts. Proceeds from The Barnacle under Moonlight Concert Series support special projects at the park sponsored by The Barnacle Society, Inc., which is a volunteer non-profit, citizen-supported organization created to generate public awareness, education, and financial support for the preservation and maintenance of this historic treasure.
Come out and enjoy the music from 7:00-9:00 pm. Gates open at 6:00 pm. Admission: $7 ages 10 & older; $3 ages 6-9; Free ages 5 and younger.
The Barnacle Historic State Park is at 3485 Main Highway in Coconut Grove.
