Rodez Art Gallery at CocoWalk, is hosting a special fundraiser benefiting Margo Gignac. Margo, a promising Coconut Grove ballerina, was involved in a devastating, life-changing car accident in the early hours of December 3, 2010.Her injuries were so severe and her condition so grave that police who arrived on scene treated Margo'ssituation as a potential homicide. Amazingly; however, due to Margo's amazing guts, determination, and sheer strength, she survived but she is now paralyzed and facing difficult circumstances as she does not have insurance to cover physical therapy which she desperately needs on a daily basis.
The event will feature a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting Margo, as well as a percentage of all artwork sold during the evening. Margo and her mom will be on hand to accept all cash donations.
The event is Saturday, September 24, from 7 to 10 pm.
