Tonight's tasting theme is "Wine Tour of Spain" at the Friday Night Wine Tasting at the Sonesta (2889 McFarlane Road).
Guest cohost will be Alex Perez of Hidalgo Imports along with wine educator Barry Alberts. These exceptional wines have many food pairing possibilities as well as being delicious on their own. Sample ten wines along with cheese and fruit.
The tasting takes place on the roof deck (inside if rain) at the Panorama Restaurant and Sky Lounge on the hotel’s 8th floor, offering one of the most spectacular panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and Dinner Key in South Florida.
The tastings occur every Friday night from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. Cost is $15 and reservations are not required. Each week, they feature 10 wines by theme, grape type, region or country of origin and includes a complimentary artisan cheese platter. Along with the Wine Tasting Series, the Panorama Restaurant & Sky Lounge offers an optional fixed price three-course dinner menu.
