Jesse Vasquez, the general manger at the Cruz Building, gave me the scoop on what is going on there.
The Cruz Building is the former Christabelle's Quarter and The Ivy location on Commodore Plaza. It's now open for business again. They are strictly using the building as event space for private events such as weddings, product launches, parties, charity events, and things like that.
The rate for renting the building is $6,500 (weekdays) and $8,900 (weekends) for a five hours function for 250 people and $15 per person over 250.
They have done some renovations inside and the space is available to you any time you're ready. I keep saying that the space would be perfect for one of those murder mystery dinner parties, you know, for charity or something. With Halloween coming up, I'm sure the space will come to some good use.
