It's gonna be a big weekend in Coconut Grove. The Great Grove Bedrace is making news all over the country. MSN.com has the Bed Race as #3 on their list of things to do around the country this holiday weekend. That can be seen here.
Cristy Rice and Vanilla Ice (love the way that sounds), one of our celeb judges and Grand Marshal, receptively, have been tweeting away and even retweeing our tweets (say that three times fast). I have seen that many of you have been retweeing the @grovebedrace and @grovegrapevine tweets as well.
The Bed Race has been all over the news and in the newspapers, The Miami Herald has been running our Vanilla Ice story on the home page for days now. It's really gonna be a big day.
Keep in mind that the Grove can accommodate all the thousands who will show up. There is plenty of parking in Coconut Grove. No, you are not going to get a spot next to Johnny Rockets or the Sandbar but you will find parking in surface lots and parking garages -- there are about 5000 of those spots available!
