Bar Crawl today to raise $$$ in name of Mike Plata

There is a bar crawl today, September 10, starting at 2 pm sponsored by Grove Cares to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research. The crawl begins at 2:00 at The Sandbar and costs only $15. All proceeds will go to pancreatic cancer research. This fight is in memory of Mike Plata, who lost his battle to pancreatic cancer at the young age of 53. So have some drinks and fun for a very good cause.

2:00 - Sandbar
3:00 - Barracuda
4:00 - Mr. Moe's
5:00 - Tavern

6:00 - Grove Central
7:00 - Grove Spot
8:00 - Beer Garden
9:00 - Burgundy Room

Note: It appears that the Burgundy Room has closed, so check at the Sandar at check-in for an alternative location.

Pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all major cancers. 94% of pancreatic cancer patients will die within five years of diagnosis; 75% of patients die within the first year of diagnosis.
