Suarez is guest speaker at Chamber luncheon

The Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce is having a "Power Lunch" on Friday, September 9. County Commissioner Xavier Suarez, is the special guest speaker.



Xavier L. Suarez was elected to serve on the Miami-Dade County Commission as District 7 Commissioner on May 24, 2011. He represents numerous municipalities including the City of Miami, the Village of Key Biscayne, the City of Coral Gables, the City of South Miami, the Village of Pinecrest, as well as areas of unincorporated Miami-Dade County.



Suarez was first elected Mayor of the City of Miami in 1985 and subsequently re-elected in 1987 and 1989.



The luncheon starts at 12:30 pm with a networking reception at noon. Venue is the Mayfair Hotel and Spa (3000 Florida Avenue).
