I was on Coral Way the other day and I noticed entrance signs to the City of West Miami in various areas where the city begins, for instance at 67th Avenue. This reminded me of all the talk a few years ago about Coconut Grove getting an entrance sign at 27th Avenue and US1. It's been years and nothing has been done.
Maybe it will be the last part of the 27th Avenue renovation project. People whiz by the Grove all the time without even a whimper from the Grove, an entrance sign would sort of be a wave to the passersby by, saying, "Hello, we're here."
A sign at 32nd and US1 couldn't hurt either.
