Spartico, the Italian restaurant in the Mayfair Hotel (3000 Florida Avenue) is now holding Pizza Making Parties for kids.
This is something new to do for children's birthday parties and other events. Each child receives a Spartico apron upon arrival and will work with chefs to create their own unique pizzas. Kids and parents can turn the Italian trattoria into their own pizza bar kitchen.
As the kids are treated to a family-style snack, personalized pizza making class and ice cream sundae buffet or personalized cake, Spartico also offers a cocktail menu and promotions for the parents to have their own little party.
Kids can expect unlimited soft drinks, family-style Calamari, Zucchini Fritti and Cesar salad; personally made pizza by the birthday boy or girl and guests; a few Margherita pizzas; ice cream sundae buffet or personalized birthday cake and Spartico apron gift for everyone.
The cost is $21.95 per child; adult food and beverage packages are available.
