Village Council taking applications for vacant seat

The Coconut Grove Village Council is taking applications to fill the seat vacated by Felice Dubin by appointment.

To qualify you must be a registered voter and must have resided in Coconut Grove for at least 12 months. The application packet may be found here.

Applications will be accepted until 5:00 pm on Friday, June 10. The selection committee will meet prior to the June 16 meeting to decide which candidates to invite as finalists to introduce themselves to the council at large on June 16, and at that time the council will vote to select Felice’s replacement.

Please consider this important position in our community. The Village Council meets once a month, usually the third Thursday of each month. It's imperative that you be at all council meetings, so please keep that in consideration.
