The inaugural Drinks of the Grove takes place Tuesday, June 21 from 7:00 to 9:30 pm at The Burgundy Room, at CocoWalk. It's called the Summer Solstice Cocktail Mixology Contest (June 21 is the longest day of the year). This will be followed by a karaoke competition. A live band, Swinging Richard, will play for the singers.
Drinks of the Grove features bartenders from 10 local bars and restaurants competing for the best summer cocktail. Cost is $25 for 10 drink tickets. The winner will be determined by the bartender who has the most drink tickets. Free raffle tickets will be given out as you enter.
This looks like a great fun event which involves the community in a big way, stop by and try out some new refreshments and vote for your favorite bartender.
