The Arts & Minds seniors are having an art expo tonight, June 4, as part of the Gallery Walk.The Gallery Walk is from 7 to 10 pm, but this senior art expo is from 6 to 8 pm. Admission is free.
The Academy of Arts & Minds is at 3138 Commodore Plaza. And while on Commodore, you can start the Gallery Walk at the Christina Chacon Gallery, Frameworks and the new Leonard King Gallery, with all his kinetic art.
Then you can make your way back toward the other galleries on Grand Avenue. And don't forget the Coconut Grove Drum Circle at Florentine Plaza (3444 Main Highway). In the back, by the stairs, you'll see a large group of people drumming away from 8 to 10 pm. Feel free to sit in, bring your own drum or share theirs.
One special event of the night is the Violins and Visions, live display, not to be missed.
