Becoming a Spiritual Traveler through Meditation

A new meditation series is staring Monday, June 27, at the Dharma Yoga Studio (3170 Commodore Plaza).

"Intro to the Path to Enlightenment: Becoming a Spiritual Traveler," is a series being held Monday evenings from 7:45 to 9:15 pm through August 8. (No class will be held on July 4.)

The series will focus on meditations and methods to improve lives while benefiting others — which can transform lives into a journey of wisdom and purpose. Too often we get sucked into the drama of the moment — in these classes participants will gain a bigger perspective, freeing them to see their lives in a spiritual context.

Each class includes two or three guided meditations and teachings on the series subject. Each class is self-contained, and everyone is welcome.

The class is a branch of Drolma Kadampa Buddhist Center in Fort Lauderdale, which offers Buddhist meditation classes throughout Southeast Florida. There is a $11 fee per class. Email
