11 am - FAMILY PAJAMA PARTY
Virginia Street beside the Bookstore, lasts until 1 pm
- Prizes will be given out all day for pajamas, for coming up on stage and performing and for speed in the obstacle course, there is music and story telling and lots of things for the kiddies.
1 pm - CELEBRITY & JUDGES ASSEMBLE MAIN STAGE (near post office)
Esteemed panel of judges starting with Grand Marshall Indy 500 racer Tony Kanaan, Alonzo Mourning, Mayor Regalado, County Commissioner Carlos Gimenez, City Commissioner Marc Sarnoff, Representative Carlos Lopez-Cantera, Homestead Miami Speedway President Matt Becherer, local Miamian and actor Steven Bauer, known for Que Pasa USA and Scarface as well as a MC for the day, comedian Johnny Trabs
1 -1:15 pm - INTRODUCTION OF PANEL & MEDIA SHOTS (track and main stage)
1:15 pm - DRUMLINE OPENS PIT ROW PARADE (Pit row, around main stage)
1:55 pm - WELCOME REMARKS AM & TONY KANAAN (Main Stage, Pace Bed front -center)
2:06 pm - NATIONAL ANTHEM
2:08 pm - Tony Kanaan “start your engines parody”
2:09 pm - Time Trials First Heat (Grand Ave.) (5 minutes per race maximum)
2:29 pm - 411 PAIN COLLISION ASSISTANCE SKIT
2:33 pm - Intermission parade: First Heat returns to Pit Row
2:44 pm -Time Trials Second Heat (Grand Ave.) (5 minutes per race maximum)
3:17 pm - Intermission parade: second heat returns to Pit Row
3:25 pm - Quarterfinals, Division 1 - 3
4:03 pm - Semifinals, division 1-3
4:23 pm - Finals Division 2-3
5:00 pm - CROWD FAVORITE
5:10 pm - Finals Division 1
5:30 pm - Awards & Victory lap
6 to 10 pm - Post Race Celebration: merchant drink and dinner specials & live music on Fuller Street sponsored by The Barracuda Bar and Grill.
