Steven Slater, the "take this job and shove it" flight attentant from Jet Blue was asked by Glenn Terry's group to be the Grand Marshal of the King Mango Strut, his agent turned it down. Yes, he has an agent, the agency is called Fifteen Minutes of Fame, really. They try to stretch the 15 minutes out for as long as the public can stomach their clients.
Glenn says he is now working on bigger game, "Now we're wondering if Lindsey Lohan will be free (i.e. not in jail) that day," says Glenn.
I'm not sure if Glenn is putting on a different Strut than Antoinette Baldwin's group or if they joined forces of what, but that's Glenn's plan at the moment. Last week, Antoinette was given the permit by the City Manager for the King Mango Strut to be held December 26. So not sure where Lindsey will be Grand Marshal if she agrees. Maybe the Strut will be back in Glenn's hands by parade time.
