La Bottega Rhythm and Wine is presenting Ricky Williams and Shantel Baker on Friday, September 24. They will be performing two shows, at 8 pm and 10 pm, each is preceded by a wine reception a half hour earlier.
Ricky has performed in many upscale clubs and restaurants in South Florida with bands and as a single performer. For eleven years, The Forge was his home, for one of the longest running shows in South Florida. His smooth Jazz, R&B and soul sound keep his fans coming back for more. He played Clavinet for Super Star Bennie King for his album “Super Natural”. Ricky has played with Bette Midler, Peter Niro, Roy Ayers, Sister Sledge, and he did a commercial with Luther Vandross. Ricky was at Electric Lady Studio during the recording of many of Stevie Wonders compositions and played on Stevie Wonders Soundbook. He was also in the studio during the recording of Superstition.
Shantel's vocals have captured the attention of many fans. She started singing in her church choir. She graduated from FIU and has performed all over the US and Europe. He played Clavinet for Super Star Bennie King for his album “Super Natural”.
