The first Kampong for Kids Concert of the season is Saturday, October 16, featuring Mr. Nick, creator of In the Nick of Time music, winner of the 2010 Parent's Choice Award Gold Medal.Nick Deysher, the beloved music teacher at several local schools, will delivery his high-energy performance at 1:30 pm.
Clever lyrics and cheerful tunes from Mr. Nick's new release "People, Places and Things" and Coconut Groove, will be featured. Mr. Nick's music is influenced by the Beatles, Bob Marley and Paul Simon.
"The Kampong is pleased to welcome new audiences to this historic garden and home, to enjoy exceptional live performances in magical setting," said Ann Parsons, Director of The Kampong.
