This Friday, August 27, is the Great Grove Bed Race's Test 'n Tune night at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Beds in the September 5 race will have an opportunity to try out their running skills and their beds on the speedway's 1/8" mile track. It's free for Bed Racers and the public is welcome to come and watch.
Doors open at 6:30 pm and the beds take over the track at 8:00 pm.Last year, during the Bed Race, bed's broke, racers crashed and all sorts of crazy things happened, but ironically, the beds that went to the Test 'n Tune beforehand did not have problems, they were able to see what is what in the way of bed building and running -- will the wheels hold up? Will the running team work? Will the bed hold together?
