Miami Herald reporter Hannah Sampson did a story today in Business Monday about alternative tourists spots in South Florida, outside of South Beach. The article is called "Beyond the Beach", but she forgot Coconut Grove!
There's Bal Harbour and Coral Gables and the Miami Design District and other spots around Dade County and even Hollywood is talked about, but the Grove is not part of the article. Some local Grove business owners are a bit disturbed by this slight. I'm sure it's just an oversight and maybe Hannah needs to get out more.
I know of one business owner who emailed Hannah and has asked her to come by for a tour of the village.
