A friend told me she didn't come to Mad Men Monday because she didn't feel comfortable hanging out with business men and talking business.

Mad Men is a tv show that takes place in the 1960s, so the Mad Men Monday Happy Hour is basically a 1960s themed Happy Hour. While the tv show is playing in the corner, it is very inconsequential. Mad Men Monday is about the '60s era drinks and music.
No one is speaking business there. There is lots of fun and it's full of happy people. Most of them are actually women. So hopefully, this will dispel the rumor that it's a business man's meeting.
Come out, have a Martini, Gimlet or Manhattan. Mix and mingle with friends. No business is spoken, honest, unless you want to, it is a great place to network. Mad Men Monday is at the Mayfair Hotel Lobby Bar from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. On Mondays, of course.
