It's quite busy for the dog days of summer

monday1
Have you been out and about? The Grove is quite busy these last couple of weeks of summer. During the day, there are lots of tourists and office workers all over the place and yesterday was special because Burn Notice took over Mr. Moe's for filming, so Commodore Plaza was quite busy.

Later in the evening on the other side of town, Mad Men Monday had one of its largest crowds at the Mayfair Lobby bar and next door at The Bookstore, a full house sat in for the Renewable Ocean Energy discussion for the Eat, Think, and Be Merry! monthly Science Café series. We had some delicous brownies there after a couple of hours of Brandy Alexanders at Mad Men. I met a couple of the ladies from the Alma BBD ad agency, which is moving to the Grove from Coral Gables at the beginning of next year.

I must have had a sweet tooth because earlier I had stopped in The Bookstore and got a big box of Good & Plenty, which I brought to Mad Men.
