Fallen trees on Grand to be righted up by County

The trees on Grand Avenue, that were knocked down due to the storm last week, are still down. The City knows about the issue, they have called the county numerous times about it. It's a County issue. Not a City issue.

The County says they are on it. It's almost a good thing that they didn't fix the trees because with the high winds we had due to Tropical Storm Bonnie, the trees may have just fallen over again. The problem, we are told, is that the roots are not grabbing the dirt, which causes the trees to be unstable.

We know, there's a joke in there somewhere, but anyway, please stop calling the City about the trees, they are on it.
