Trying to make the Grove techie

This Saturday, March 30, there is a Facebook seminar at the Museum of Science. It's called the Facebook Developer Garage.

It's all day from 10 am to 3 pm, a few of the subjects being discussed are: "Intro to Facebook," "Gaming for Bucks," "Linked Store Demo," and "Building Your Public Profile."

Brian Breslin has put together the event and was also instrumental in the Miami BarCamp tech event held in the Grove this past February.
Brian and others would love to get a tech community living and/or working in Coconut Grove. Right now, discussions are underway about getting the monthly RefreshMiami meetings to take place at Grove venues. Brian is the founder of RefreshMiami, the largest tech meetup group in South Florida.

Many Grove residents and businesses would welcome this techie crowd with open arms.

You must sign up for this Saturday's event. You can do that here:

P.S. I decided to join Facebook myself last night. I couldn't figure out how to do a business profile for the Grapevine, so it's a personal profile. If you know me and would like to be my friend or whatever it's called (I need Brian's seminar), you can find me here.
