A big smile for Burn Notice

sharon
Burn Notice star Sharon Gless at yesterday's City Commission meeting, is all smiles after the commissioners voted unanimously to keep Burn Notice around for awhile.

Below, State Rep. Carlos Lopez-Cantera, producer, Terry Miller and Sharon Gless, await the commission's decision. While a few sour pusses in the Grove are still complaining that the Expo Center is falling apart and they say they are afraid to walk by, these people work inside daily. I doubt the production company and many others would allow Sharon Gless and all of the people working there to be there if that was the case.

So to those who want to complain on and on about the structure, if you don't like the Expo Center, look the other way when driving by. It's going to be there for awhile and it is going to be bringing in millions of dollars a year. Millions! When you can do the same and bring the city millions of dollars a year and hundreds of jobs, I am sure they will hear your side of the story, actually those who did have another side of the story, wimped out yesterday and refused to speak up.

In the meantime enjoy the acres and acres of parkland surrounding the area at Kennedy, Myers and Peacock Parks (and the Barnacle and the many other pocket parks). You complainers make us sound like we are land locked and in the Bronx or something. Do any of you complainers actually partake of the parks we have now? I highly doubt it.
