Remove the traffic light; admit it wasn't right

light
Neighbors in the South Grove are still upset over the traffic light at Ingraham and Douglas. For all these many years there never was a need for the light, now the light is doing more harm than good.

Traffic is backed up at all hours, especially during rush hours, and the drivers are now taking short cuts through the neighborhoods.

I suspect some higher up who lives in that area had the light installed. That usually seems to be the case. Now that person and his neighbors have unwanted traffic caused by drivers taking short cuts through their streets to avoid the long waits at the light (I am told 45 minutes at times to get through the lights).

Someone needs to admit the mistake already and remove the light. Can't anyone ever say they were wrong rather than add to the problem by stubbornly insisting they were right.
