Committee formed to discuss FPL issues

Local activist Harlene Kennedy, who was up for the empty Village Council seat, against Adam Weirich, seems to have gotten her feet right back into the community by starting a committee (town hall style) to talk about FPL issues like burying powerlines and the new FPL high voltage lines.

Village Council member Alyn Pruett will be part of the committee and they are looking for more members if anyone is interested.

Next Thursday evening, March 26, the committee will attend a town hall meeting hosted by County Commissioner Katy Sorensen on the FPL high voltage issue. The meeting is at the South Dade Government Center 10710 SW 211 St, Cutler Bay (6:30 pm).

For info on the Grove committee, please email me and I'll pass your info on to Harlene. Or you can just attend the next Village Council meeting or meet Harlene at the Cutler Bay meeting.
