A few people have stopped me on the street and asked how they can leave comments without signing in. You don't have to sign in, that option it there for people with blogs who want their blog name to appear as a link.
To leave a comment you have that option or the name option or the anonymous option. Just choose one. We would prefer your real name, but even in the name option you can make up a name or phrase like many do.
But it is not necessary to sign in to make comments.
