The Grove has fans from far away

This is Will Furry's uncle Pat Furry, visiting from California. Will owns Wax On, Wax Off and Dealtificate. Pat is the youngest decorated Vietnam war veteran, he is president and CEO of Cabo Conduit.

Pat came to the Grove, knowing all about the Grove before he got here because he is a daily Grapevine reader. So when he arrived, he was anxious to see the people and places that he wrote about. He already knew Olav at The Grove Spot, even though Olav had not met him yet and this happened with many others around town.

This used to happen a lot, when the Grapevine first started, it was more about people and places than daily news and people would come to town, even my own family, looking for the "characters" in our little daily reality show called the Coconut Grove Grapevine.

It still happens, almost on a daily basis. I get emails from people asking about people and places they have read about here, the number one question is always about Burn Notice, they want to visit the sets or see live filming. Another popular question is about where to stay, they like the Grove from what they read and they want to know which hotel to stay in and also where to eat (a great reason to advertise here, hint, hint). The Grapevine is read worldwide.
