Mr. Moe's lawsuit to be held in Dade's Circuit Court

According to the Crespo-Gram Report, John El-Masry, owner of Mr. Moe's, won a round in court regarding his lawsuit against the City of Miami. The suit filed in April 2010 seeks to reverse the 3 am bar closing time (rolled back from the previous 5 am time) but the City attempted to move the suit to Federal District Court.

But this week, the Federal District Court ordered that the hearing be held in the Miami-Dade Circuit Court.
John's lawsuit asks for $10 million in damages and lost revenue. The courts move slowly, so who knows when the actual case will be heard.
