Summer art classes for students

Blu Moon Studio of Art is offering Summer Art Classes for students aged 12 to 18.

Advanced mixed media have all the great stuff from Sheri Friedman's regular classes but at a much cooler price.Classes are from June 8 to July 31 at Blu Moon (3444 Main Highway) and on Saturdays, the class will go on "sketchbook excursions" around the Grove.

The summer classes include up to three classes per week, a professional artist/instuctor, all materials, live model (in costume), and the Saturday Sketchbook Excursions.

There will be a parents only art appreciation night / class. "Where we will open a bottle of whine and I will teach you the vocabulary to use including the 3 things we must absolutely never say to our teenagers about their art, or else risk proving to them once and for all that we really 'just don't understand'," says Sheri.

Classes are $275 for the 10 Class Package and $495 for the 20 Class Package.
