Celebrating Buddha's birthday

Zen Village (3570 Main Highway), the institute for wellness, culture and spirituality, is celebrating Buddha's birthday and the full moon, too, on Saturday, May 29 at 7:00 pm.

They'll celebrate with a traditional Baby Buddha bathing ceremony and prayer. The ceremonial bathing of the statue of the Baby Buddha is to "remind you to keep a clean mind, free from all obstacles and to awaken and cultivate your true nature."

It's a night of fun community spirit, music, singing and Karaoke with a delicious vegetarian barbecue. Suggested donation is $15.00. Please RSVP to
