The master class and mini concert at the Arts and Minds School was excellent yesterday. Sonohra rocked the house for the entire A&M High student body and then stuck around afterwards to talk, one on one, with every student who wanted to, which was extremely generous since there were many. The Sony people were ecstatic from the student response and the way they behaved. It’s was a win-win for everyone.
The school kids get the benefit of a master class from top talent, Sony gets to share its talented recording artists, and show the community the good work they are doing in promoting young talented musicians through the positive impact of a master class. and even Coconut Grove as a whole benefits because it all happens here. On a Tuesday afternoon. Anyone who was out on Commodore Plaza got to catch the act.
