The 8th Annual Lou Gehrig's Disease 10k Run and 5K Run/Walk is coming to the Grove on Saturday, May 9. Starting point is at City Hall (3500 Pan American Drive) at 7:30 am.
Early registration (until May 9) is $25.00 per person and $10.00 for those under 14 and if you prefer to register the day of the race, the fee is $30.00. There will be prizes for the winners.
If you don't want to race, but would like to donate, you can do that, through the "Defeat ALS in Your Sleep" program, where you can stay home and sleep and even still receive a Romero Britto t-shirt.
