the daily Tomversation comic strip

Starting in October, the BID and Dharma Studio will be hold free Yoga classes in Peacock Park. That's right, starting October 1 and every Tuesday from 6 to 7 pm, these open-level weekly yoga classes will offer stress-free Yoga in the park.

All ages and all levels are welcome. The classes will run through April and then take a break for the hotter months.

A certified yoga instructor from Dharma Studio will lead each class. All participants must sign a waiver and should bring their own yoga mat, water and towel. Classes will be Vinyasa-based featuring a flowing energetic style, including breath-work, meditation and relaxation.

Many of you know Dharma Studio on Commodore Plaza, Natalie and Lori are a fixture in the Grove. The passion, experience and love which fueled Dharma’s beginnings can be felt the moment you step inside. The idea was to create a warm yoga home and fill it with the best instructors, interesting eclectic events, and to open its doors to the community at large to experience the far reaching powers of yoga. Schedule and accessibility is varied for all levels of practice, from athletic yoga to yoga for the physically impaired and everything in between.
