On Sunday, September 8, the Barnacle (3485 Main Highway) is holding a special event called Books, Birds & Boats.
The Barnacle is celebrating International Literacy Day with educational activities, games and prizes, story book reading, and more. The admission fee will be waived for anyone who brings a library card, a library book, or a new or gently used family-friendly book for donation.
The event is from 11 am to 3 pm
Admission: $2. Under 6 free.
